Went to Holland Park.
We needed a bit of a boost so we decided brakefast not involving wholegrain slices of toast would be a nice change to things . Instead it was the roasted vegetables and goat cheese that started my day, and I'm a very happy woman with a small pooh-bear tummy filled with latte and roasted foccacia (spelling is optional)
Me and Love then took a walk around the park and then decided to sit down our ikea pleather officechair formed bumms on a hard bench and enjoy the indian summer sun and the lack of artificial light from a computer screen. Its nice to just sit, watch ppl, and hold hands while talking about where we want to be in a year, where we want to live (right now Brighton is on top of the wish-list).. and ofcourse having a discussion just how many dogs we are going to alowe into the house we eventually will be able to buy (or rather, where Loves braking point is.. he claims 1, but I'm pretty sure I can talk him into atleast 3 more.. )
And yes, puppy talk is way more interesting than the baby version, we've allready been told what we're to expect. One boy one girl (yes, we are sure about that, we've got it from a very good source :)
here's for wishing for another 50 years, atleast, of sitting and bumming on park benches while clasping paws and talking.

One of the luxuries of life;
going to Holland Park to enjoy their coffee (one of the best places to go in London actually.. ) and their toasted Paninis (today was a "cheese, spinage and wild mushroom" variety) that leaves you with that soft sated feeling while still drooling for more. Their simply that good.
Usually though it's quite sedate when we're there but today we did the mistake of oversleeping and ending up having to wade thur ankle biters, kneebiters and hipthumpers screaming and running around high on sugar and interaction.
Not to self: do not go there at noon..
also found this little chap on the fence walking back home again.
One question:
is he really able to fly?
Seriously, he looks like a little ball with a beak. Cute as a button though, but I cant imagine him actually flying... and he did not seem to show any inclination to do so even when i got close and personal with the camera.
How he got up on the fence is a mysery..
Striking a pose..
he was quite good at it actually.
And ofcourse, the must have folower pictures (we live in London after all... their everywhere)

We were very good today. up at 8, got out of the house and trotted over to Holland Park. The sun was shining (and still is) its friday and life is good. Coffe, Ciabatas and water while trying to filter out the baby-buggy-terrorist with their screaming anklebiters and kneethumpers. One of best places in the city. Since its just behind Hyde Park and Kensington Park not a lot of tourists find their way here (took us almost 7 months before we found it) and that means a lot of seating, good priced coffe and you do not have to get overly friendly with any one.
To bad the Latte did not last very long...
disturbing part!), she's now being introduced to the world of Internet and e-mail. meaning they pretty much are clamoring for photos and stuff to show her. Anywaysies, thinking I'd get them a good photo of me in full sunlight I took this photo---------------->>
